FISHING TOUR ROUND UZBEKISTAN
Route: Tashkent – Bukhara – Korakyr lake – Tudakul lake – Aydarkul lake – Syrdarya river – Koksu river – Chatkal river - Tashkent

Highlights: The fishing tour is developed for anglers who like to get an experience of fishing in desert and mountain areas of Uzbekistan.
Kind of fish:
Korakyr lake, Tudakul lake, Aydarkul lake, Syrdarya river:
carp (Cyprinus carpio), zander (Stizostedion), catfish (Silurus), asp/zherekh (Aspius aspius), barb (Barbus), grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella).
Koksu river:
rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), osman (Diptychus).
Chatkal river:
marinka (Schizothorax), peled (Coregonus peled).
Program:
1 Day: Tashkent
Arrival to Tashkent international airport. Transfer to the hotel. Rest and free time. Dinner. Overnight in Tashkent.
2 Day: Tashkent – Bukhara - Tudakul lake
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Morning flight to Bukhara. Arrival to Bukhara and transfer to Tudakul lake (60 km). Arrival to the lake. Set up the tent camp. Evening fishing. Dinner. Overnight in the tent camp on the lakeshore.
3 Day: Tudakul lake - canal to Korakyr lake
Morning fishing on the lake. Transfer to the canal flowing into Korakyr lake (130 km). Evening fishing on the canal. Dinner. Overnight in the tent camp on the bank of the canal.
4 Day: Korakyr lake
Morning fishing on the canal. Transfer to Korakyr lake (150 km). Set up the tent camp. Evening fishing on the lake. Dinner. Overnight in the tent camp on the lakeshore.
5 Day: Korakyr lake
Morning fishing on the lake. Lunch and rest. Evening fishing on the lake. Dinner. Overnight in the tent camp on the lakeshore.
6 Day: Bukhara
Morning fishing on the lake. Transfer to Bukhara. Accommodation and rest at the hotel. Dinner. Free time. Overnight in Bukhara.
7 Day: Aydarkul lake
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Aydarkul lake (260 km). Set up the tent camp. Evening fishing from a motor boat. Dinner. Overnight in the tent camp on the lakeshore.
8 Day: Aydarkul lake
Morning fishing on the lake from a motor boat. Lunch and rest. Evening fishing on the lake from a motor boat. Dinner. Overnight in the tent camp on the lakeshore.
9 Day: Syrdarya river
Morning fishing on the lake from a motor boat. Transfer to Syrdarya river (250 km). Arrival to Syrdarya river. Set up the tent camp. Evening fishing. Dinner. Overnight in the tent camp on the bank of the river.
10 Day: Syrdarya river
Morning fishing on the river. Lunch and rest. Evening fishing on the river. Dinner. Overnight in the tent camp on the bank of the river.
11 Day: Syrdarya river – Tashkent
Morning fishing on the river. Transfer to Tashkent (80 km). Arrival to Tashkent. Accommodation and rest at the hotel. Dinner. Free time. Overnight in Tashkent.
12 Day: Tashkent - Ugam-Chatkal national park, Koksu river
Transfer from Tashkent to the mountain village Yakkatut (106 km, 2 h, 1000 m). Upon arrival morning tea and packaging of personal stuff to the horse's bags. Partly horse riding and partly trekking to the place of fishing (17 km, 5-6 h, 1390 m). Set up a tent camp. Lunch. Fishing. Dinner round the fire place. Overnight on the bank of the river.
13 Day: Ugam-Chatkal national park, Koksu river
Breakfast in the camp. Fishing upstream the river. The fishing guide shows the places of fishing and ways of casting for beginners. Lunch cooked from caught fish. Rest time. Evening fishing. Dinner round the fire place. Overnight in the tent camp.
14 Day: Ugam-Chatkal national park, Koksu river
Breakfast. Fishing with guide downstream the river. Lunch. Rest. Evening fishing. Dinner round the fire place. Overnight in the tent camp.
15 Day: Ugam-Chatkal national park, Koksu river
Breakfast. Packing of the camp outfit. Back way to the mountain village Yakkatut. Transfer to the hotel “Avenue park” located on the shore of Charvak manmade lake (6 km). Lunch at the hotel’s restaurant. Swimming at the outdoor swimming pool. Sauna. Dinner. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
16 Day: Ugam-Chatkal national park, Chatkal river
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Chatkal river (4 km). Fishing on the river. Transfer to the hotel “Avenue park”. Gala dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.
17 Day: Ugam-Chatkal national park, Charvak manmade lake - Tashkent
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tashkent international airport to the flight of next destination.
Inclusions:
- *all transfers and airport pick-ups/drop-offs in accordance to the program;
- air ticket Tashkent-Bukhara (economy class);
- FB meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the fishing and transfers;
- camping outfit and special equipment (tents, sleeping bags and insulated mats, first aid kit, etc);
- accommodation at Tashkent, Bukhara and Charvak lake hotels as above in the program;
- service of accompanying English speaking fishing instructor during the whole tour;
- service of local fishing instructors;
- service of motor boating on Aydarkul lake;
- rent of horses for carrying of camping outfit and meal during the fishing on Koksu river;

- special permit to the nature conservation territory of Koksu river;

- international air tickets;
- lunches and dinners during staying in Tashkent, Bukhara and at hotel “Avenue Park” on Charvak lake;

Fishing on the lakes and Syrdarya river:

Weight restrictions:
*The weight carried in horses' bags are critical, therefore the anglers have to keep the weight of personal clothing and other stuff to a maximum of 10 kg or lighter.
Permitting requirements for Koksu river:
1. The itinerary passes through the nature conservation area where the special permit demands. The documents for permitting should be submitted in 15 days before the tour.
2. The following document is required:
- scanned copy of passport;
- scanned copy of entry visa.
