TREKKING TO Mt.BIG CHIMGAN

Itinerary: Tashkent – Ugam-Chatcal National Park, Chimgan - Tashkent
Region: Ugam-Chatcal National Park, Chatcal range, Western Tien-Shan, Uzbekistan
Tour duration: 1 day
Season: May, June, July, August, September, October

Highlights: A day trekking tour to the peak of the mountain Big Chimgan. Mt.Big Chimgan is the highest mountain in Chimgan-Charvak recreation part of Ugam-Chatcal national park.

Important note: Trekking to the peak of the Mt. Big Chimgan is for experienced trekkers only. 

Tour program:
08:00-10:00 – transfer Tashkent – Ugam-Chatcal National Park, Chimgan (100 km, 1650 m);
10:00-14:00 – ascend to the peak of the mountain Big Chimgan (3309 m).
14:00-15:00 - picnic on the top of the mountain;
15:00-19:00 – descend down;
19:00-21:00 – transfer to Tashkent. 

*It is recommended to start the program at 07:00 a.m. during summer time.

Inclusions: 

• transfer Tashkent – Ugam-Chatcal National Park, Chimgan - Tashkent;
• service of English speaking mountain guide;
• picnic (sandwiches, vegetables, fruits, sweets, tea, water). 

Recommended outfit:
1. trekking boots;
2. trekking trousers;
3. windcheater.

Recommended UV protection:
1. cap;
2. sun block cream and sun glasses.
